Meet and Greet schedule is subject to change due to weather.
The schedule will be updated the Friday before the actual Meet
and Greet. If a Meet and Greet falls on a legal holiday, such
as New Years, Easter, etc., there will not be a Meet and Greet
on that day.

greyhounds!

Greyt Rub-a-Dub-Dub
Help with the cleaning of the kennels, ensuring all the
hounds are comfortable with beds and plenty of toys! Spend
time with the individual hounds: walking, petting, bathing
and brushing. Skills: Willingness to get down and 'dirty'

FWACC 28 -- Reunion of the GU 8:
A Celebration

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve
Plano, Texas
The FWACC 28: they captured our hearts with their sad eyes, flea and tick-covered bodies and open wounds. We held our breath when they suffered setbacks and cheered them on as they began to recover.
Now, come celebrate their new lives as we reunite the FWACC GU 8 for the first time since they came into our care six weeks ago. We welcome all of the FWACC survivors and their families to join us in this celebration.
- Meet all 8 of the determined GU survivors and the foster families who have been nursing and nurturing them back to health. Shyla, Meg, Ivy, Miato, Nedra, Iris, Icon and Neeka will all be there for you to meet and greet and love on.
- Walk for Life: celebrate the survivors with a walk on one of the Preserve’s beautiful nature trails.
- Lunch will be served in the pavilions overlooking the park.
- A professional photographer will be on hand to take a commemorative photo of the 8 that will be available for purchase.
So, mark your calendars and plan to join us for this happy day as we look forward to the future with the FWACC 28 and surround them with love and hope that they can carry with them in their new lives.
