Bio

Elsa has been with us since March 30th. When she first arrived at our home, she knew nothing about living in a house.

Everything was a challenge from the hardwood floors, the swimming pool, our pack of Greyhounds, where to eat, where to sleep, etc. You name it, and she was afraid of it!

She arrived terrified of everything; getting her to go outside was an ordeal.

But in the six weeks Elsa has been our foster, she's made tremendous progress. She loves to be outside, loves her walks (she walks beautifully on leash - no pulling), is beginning to appreciate her treats, loves comfy dog beds and head scratches. She seeks out affection rather than running from us, and is playing with our other Greyhounds!

Here's the scoop on Elsa:

• Elsa loves to eat!
• She has never once barked.
• She is the perfect house guest.
• Elsa hasn't shown interest in toys or stuffies like the rest of our pack. The longest we've left her is 8 hours and she does fine.
• No chewing on furniture, either.
• She also doesn't show any interest in hopping up on the couch or the bed.
• Currently, she shows zero interest in squirrels, rabbits, or our chickens. I'm unsure about cat tolerance.
• Couldn't care less about thunderstorms. Or the doorbell!!
• Esla is a submissive girl. She would do well with another non-alpha dog. I don't think she'd do well as an only dog.
