Hi there, I’m Turbo! 🏎️💨

True to my name, I LOVE to run! Running is the absolute best, which is actually my excuse for why I sometimes just pick at my food — a girl must stay light on her paws, right?

I am a big fan of meeting new people and potential dog siblings. I can get a little "rambunctious" (my foster mom’s word for super excited!) and might jump up to say hello. Once that initial burst of energy passes, I can be a tad shy. But give me a minute to feel safe, and my real personality shines right through. Most of the time, I’m pretty independent, but every now and then, I’ll surprise you and turn into a total "Velcro hound" for no reason at all.

My Dream Home:

• A K9 Brother or Sister: I love lounging near my foster brother, even when I'm doing my own independent thing. I really need a forever home that already has a dog sibling to show me the ropes and help me feel secure and because I’m not cat / small animal tolerant.
• No Small Animals:   I’m not cat‑ or small‑critter‑tolerant.
• A Little Supervised Structure: I’m smart, potty-trained, and know my basic commands. However, I can get a bit mischievous when left entirely to my own devices! Because of that, I do best being crated or wearing a basket muzzle when humans aren't home. I can also open barn or pocket doors and push open other doors if not shut securely.

A Few More Turbo Facts:

• I’m an excellent “guard” dog! I will alert you to visitors, either by barking or by doing celebratory laps from the door to you.
• Furniture‑Respecting Lady — I haven’t tried to get on the furniture at all.
• I absolutely love car rides and will happily hop in and out for an adventure.
