Happy Holidays From The Mitchell Elementary Kindergarten

The Kindergarten class from Mitchell Elementary joined in the holiday spirit of giving this year by donating food, chew bones and toys to local dog rescue groups. Greyhounds Unlimited (GU) was one of the recipient groups.

And just in case GU's greys didn't receive any greeting cards this year, they prepared a large red card with Happy Holidays and their names on it (see photo on the right).

Most of the stuffed animals belonged to the kids who decided that the greys needed the toys more then they did.

Will Cohen from the Mitchell Elementary Kindergarten made the presentation to Jim DeGraff of GU. Helping in the presentation were sister Sarah, and Mom and Dad: Cindy and Bob Cohen. The gifts were given at the December 21st Meet & Greet at the Plano Barnes and Noble.

GU greytfully appreciates the gifts from the Mitchell Elementary Kindergarten class. The greys give a hearty "AhRooooo" to Will, Sarah, Cindy and Bob Cohen for presenting the gifts to GU. ("AhRooooo" is greyhound-speak for "Thank You.")

On the lighter side...

Same folks, not looking so serious for the camera this time!
