Greyt Showing at the
North Texas Irish Festival
March
1st and 2nd, 2003
Only the Italian Greyhounds know for sure what the men wore under
their kilts!
We had several Italian Greyhounds (IGs) in attendance to do just
that, in addition to looking cute.
The Weather Gods smiled on the North Texas Irish Festival (NTIF)
this year. We had a fantastic turnout of greyhounds, IGs, volunteers,
and festivalgoers.
The GU booth was busy. People passing by to pet the greys, make
a donation, buy a t-shirt, or ask us QUESTIONS. Lots of questions:
some mundane, some sincere, and some a bit absurd (no, the large
white male greyhound is not the mother of the white IGs).
Time passed quickly for our volunteers. Most report having a
good time. To get a change of scenery, some would take their greys
for a tour of the rest of the NTIF, or at least make an attempt.
Since most of our needle noses love attention, they got plenty
wherever they went. The questions followed, too.
A big RoooRooo to these volunteers and board members who
made this a success:
