Bio
Herman is a gorgeous three year-old red fawn and he is cat tolerant. Herman is extremely timid and each day he is slowly coming out of his shell. He is extremely well-mannered in the house. Herman shows no interest jumping on the furniture or counter surfing. He is slowly building his confidence going outside and only if the foster mom goes out with him. Herman pulls while walking on a leash but each day is getting better and better.
Herman is still learning on trusting and he does accept scratches and kisses. He sleeps on a dog bed in the master bedroom and sleeps all night long. He gets along great with the other greyhound and cat in the household.
The ideal forever home for Herman is one that is quiet with owners who have the patience to earn his trust. At this time, he is still petrified of children so unfortunately no children. If there are loud noises he will go find a place to hide. However, as he is starting to blossom it is truly amazing to witness. He comes up to the foster mom and takes his paw and touches her when he wants to play. And when he does the play bow it will truly melt your heart.
