Bio
Crusoe is a tall, dark, and handsome 5 year old Greyhound cross. He is a quick learner and aims to please his foster humans so he stays close just in case they want to teach him something and give him a treat. He wears a belly band in the house to remind him that he needs to ask to go outside when he wants to go potty. He comes to us, gives us "the look" and leads us to the door. He does not require a crate, sleeps beside his humans and his two foster sisters, and has learned not to counter cruise. Crusoe is sweet and gentle. He responds to gentle correction, and displays no need to be the boss in the pack. He will be a wonderful companion dog. He needs more leash training, but knows what "stay and wait" mean. He can be that pal you can take anywhere. His size and cross mix make him a sturdy athletic boy whose skin is not prone to tear and who is unlikely to draw the attention of dogs looking for a fight.
